Please support independent radio! Here are some reasons
why you should consider having your promotional music aired on 'The Vault'.
The station does not have Arbitron data available so I have done my own
research and gathered the following facts. WESU is the one of the largest college station in the area. The on-air signal of 6000W reaches as far north as Massachusetts to as far south as Long Island, New York. Please CLICK HERE to view the station's coverage map. The northeast region of the United States is one of the most densely populated areas of the country. Information from the last CENSUS shows that there are over 3.5 million people living in the state. It is impossible to know exactly how many people listen to my station however, based on the geographical area covered, I have well above 1.5 million potential listeners. In addition to the on-air broadcast, my station also broadcasts via the internet. I keep at least my last 2 years of shows archived on my website for people to download at their leisure. The program is also PODCAST through iTunes. To date, I have been contacted by people from all corners of the globe. AntonBanks.com attracts between 1000 and 2000 unique visitors each month depending on the music and guests featured. Audio and information from my show is also routinely shared in message boards such as Resident Advisor, Livesets.com, LittleDetroit.net, and many others. I am one of a very small number of people presenting
this music in my area. Music sent to me will get exposure in an area where
"techno" is very underrepresented. All promotional music is aired on my
show. Finally, I should note that I do not contribute to music piracy. I
never share promotional music with anyone else unless I have been given
written permission to do so. Show archives are posted at bit rates no higher
than 128k. This is high enough to maximize the listening experience yet too
low to allow people to rip high quality copies. I appreciate your consideration and look forward to working with you to spread the word about this fantastic music we call techno. Kind Regards, |
